CASTLEMAKER

We offer unmade packs of all the pieces required to build castle walls, towers and gatehouses, or any other use you may have in mind.

If you prefer, there are individual sets on offer. There are just enough pieces to complete a single tower, gatehouse or towers with walls attached. The picture above is a gatehouse and two towers with walls attached.

Construction is easy.  The various pictures and sets below, show the basic construction technique.  To complete your project you will require a suitable adhesive(we have used Bostick all purpose adhesive in the various examples) and you will have to make the ramparts, gates etc. These can be made using matchsticks, balsa wood, plastic sheets or any other similar material.

You can purchase instantly using PayPal in the store.  UK buyers can also pay by cheque or postal order, for full details please go to Contact Us.  Both include Shipping information.

Approx 8.50 cm square tower. 12.50cm high, with walls extending approx 9cm from the tower. Wall height is approx 9cm to the top of the battlements. Use 2 of these with a gatehouse and you have half of a reasonably sized castle.  A total of 150 pieces.

SET 3 - The same tower as SET2, a medium sized tower, but without the walls. A total of 96 pieces.

All sets are only available as unmade packs consisting of all the pieces you need to make that part of your castle’s walls.

See below for an example of how to begin construction of a tower with walls. This example is a small tower. Expand the tower width, or prepare a tower without walls using CB1 and CB2 blocks.

....this brings the model up to a height of 4 blocks. Simply keep adding levels up to your require height and finish off with battlements(CB2 and CB5).

...a finished unpainted small tower. We have also put in a black piece of balsa in the tower.  This now requires ramparts on the walls, and of course some paint!

This is of course only a very basic example of what you can do.

These pieces can be used to make many different models or dioramas.

The CB1 and CB2 have been used for a model railway embankment quite successfully.
